This is the most important line of any sales message.
That one right there ^^^
The first one.
If you’re going to spend a lot of time on any part of a sales message, it should be on the first line.
Get it right and people will keep reading or watching.
Get it wrong and you may lose them forever… even if the rest of your message is perfect.
I learned just how important the first line is from my buddy – and true sales master – Ian Stanley.
In fact, he’s so passionate about the first line that he dedicated an entire chapter to it in his book…
“Confessions of a Persuasion Hitman – The Unusual Rules I’ve Learned From Selling over $100 Million of Products and Services.”
The guy has sold over $100,000,000 online… in dozens of different markets…
AND his (very expensive) consulting has already made my business hundreds of thousands in less than a year…
So it’s safe to say he knows what he’s talking about.
He’s increased conversions on sales letters by as much as 100% just from changing the first few sentences…
And in his experience he’s generally able to get at least about a 30% lift just by reworking the first line or two.
It’s that important.
Ian walks you through how to write great first lines in the book. (And he teaches 12 other “rules” he follows that I think are pure gold).
Right now you can grab the book for free (just cover the negligible $5.89 it costs him to ship it to you).
The chapter on first lines alone is worth ten times that.
You can get it here FREE for the rest of today (just pay shipping)
