Why They Can’t Succeed.
I was scrolling Facebook today and came across a post from my buddy Mark Harbert and it said…
“Using ‘time’ as an excuse? TRUTH: The problem is NOT time. The problem is how you use your time. (agree / disagree?)”
And it got me thinking just how much “Time” is used as an excuse for not succeeding in ones business. I got news for you…
We are all busy.
The key is, what’s important to you?
What is your priority?
If building a business is low on the totem pole for you, just be honest and say it and move on. Don’t waste your time or others time…
and most importantly don’t start saying…
“Oh those things don’t work, I tried that”
Nothing irks me more than that ridiculous phrase…
Many people use time as an excuse because really it softens the blow in their own mind that they really are not willing to make the changes that they need to be successful in that particular venture.
Which by the way, is totally fine. Just be honest about it. There is no shame in honesty…
On the other hand…
If you legitimately have a time issue and building a business is important to you, then get some help organizing your day and prioritizing…
Let me give you a silly example to illustrate priorities…
I am going to use the “Single Guy” as an example here … lol
If as a single guy you had the opportunity to go out with the most beautiful woman and you had something else planned during that time slot would you not move heaven and earth to go on that date?
You know you would. LOL
It’s all about priorities and what is important to you. When something is important to you, you will make the needed arrangements to make it happen…
Just like your business. If you are busy and find it hard to find time to build, then figure out what you can eliminate that is sucking your time away. Also, look for pockets of time throughout your day where you can get things done that need to be done. If using “Time” as an excuse is really just a softer way in your mind to quit, then just be honest about it with yourself. In the long run you will learn more about what you like and don’t like.
Am I being too harsh here?
Maybe, but I would rather give it to you straight then blow smoke up your rear-end…
It will take time to build your business there is no getting around that simple fact…
What do you think? Am I off base here?
Hit reply as I would love to hear your thoughts…

PS: If you haven’t taken the “Time” to check out Tanya Aliza’s “Growth Camp” you are missing out. In her Facebook group she has all the recordings from the past 4 days trainings. I highly recommend you go through them. Click Here
