One of my practices recently has been a reframing practice.
How do I take what I perceive to be a bad situation or something negative and make it positive?
It’s been a really interesting practice that has been very eye-opening.
Why? For one… everything that is negative has the opportunity to be positive if we CHOOSE to look at it through a different lens or perspective.
And understanding this is really mind-blowing for me.
So, if I choose to label something as negative, I am the person and reason that it’s negative.
This exercise shows that you truly have a choice in how you look at things or label them.
T. Harv Eker says, “Nothing has meaning except for the meaning you give it.” And I couldn’t agree with him more.
Everything we see, experience, and hear has given a meaning WE choose to give. Whether that’s influenced by people or beliefs, we still have the OPTION to pick and choose our labels.
So, my challenge for you is, for the next 2 days, turn your negatives into positives. Commit to supporting yourself with your thoughts and feelings.
